There’s a new high-profile designer name in the Blue Concept denim stable: Imitation of Christ’s Tara Subkoff. The LA-based denim company, which is owned by Paul Guez and which already includes premium denim brands Antik Denim, Taverniti So Jeans, Yanuk, Grail, Duarte Jeans, Elvis and Memphis Blues, has signed Subkoff to create an Imitation of Christ denim line.

The line will debut at Imitation of Christ’s fashion show during Olympus Fashion Week in New York and at NYC’s Coterie trade show. Both events will take place in September.

The collection will feature the Imitation of Christ logo and have retail price points of $170 to $220. It will hit specialty stores in the US and elsewhere at the end of January.

Blue Concept executive vice president Beth Guez will run the new business.
