In the Style of Roppongi Hills,Tokyo
has just opened its first Giorgio Armani boutique in Berlin, Germany. It is located on the famed Kurfürstendamm, at the corner of Wielandstrasse, and covers 370 sqm over one floor. It is the first European Giorgio Armani store to reflect the style of the Giorgio Armani boutique in the Roppongi Hills area of Tokyo. Materials used throughout the shop include black granite for the floors and Marmorino plaster for the walls, overlaid in a silver color to match the ceilings. The tables are in teak with black glass tops and bamboo details in mirror-effect steel that has been finished with a satin texture to suggest the ribbing of natural bamboo. The accessories area is characterised by transparent shelves that create the impression that the displayed goods are floating. Overall, the space looks like a shiny modern bamboo jungle.
The store offers the complete Giorgio Armani lifestyle collection for men and women, including formal and casual wear, leather accessories, eyewear, fragrances and jewellery, and also features a corner dedicated to the Giorgio Armani Made to Measure service.
