In these collaboration happy days, it’s not always easy to make an impact. The collaboration between the two London labels Modernist and Ghost, however, has managed to create something of a stir.

Launched in July 2009, the line consists of 30 pieces comprising parka-style jackets, easy dresses, tops and trousers. Combining Modernist’s streamlined, sharply cut signature and Ghost’s classic aesthetic, the resulting look is underpinned by soft drapery and layering.

Ghost has been a household name in the UK for over two decades, with a clientele that favors classic femininity over trends. By teaming up with Modernist, Ghost will no doubt draw in a more fashion inclined consumer in the process.
