The boot brand Fiorentini + Baker will open its second U.S. boutique located at 1504 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California on the second week of June 2013 and will officially celebrate the opening with a special event at the store in September this year.

The store will carry the complete line of Fiorentini + Baker shoes and boots, as well as the new collection of bags, belts and accessories. The 100sqm space, housed in a typical 1920s style single storey building, will be a reflection of the brand's own style. Designer Deborah Baker will personally oversee the design and furnishing of the store, which includes, in keeping with its LA location, the floor being painted with stars. Vintage and industrial furniture has been sourced from local markets and gives the interior a unique feel. An outdoor space will also welcome customers who will be able to relax and enjoy the Californian sun.

The brand, which launched its first US flagship store to great success in New York back in 2011, already boasts an elite celebrity following, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Biel and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Deborah Baker says, “The opening of this second Fiorentini + Baker boutique in LA is a result of the outstanding success the brand has had in the U.S. since its launch in 2001. The ethos is to create wearable footwear - cool and comfortable pieces that women and men can wear season after season, year after year. The SoHo store has seen great success, and we are very excited to be opening this second store in Los Angeles.”

Fiorentini + Baker was created in 2001 by London born designer Deborah Baker. Based in Bologna, the brand has a down-to-earth approach to shoe design. The philosophy behind each collection is to create styles that can be worn everyday, put away and forgotten about, only to be rediscovered and worn again. Fiorentini + Baker designs are sold worldwide in stores including Barneys NYC, and Net-a-Porter London. It has five dedicated stores worldwide including locations in Bologna, Italy, East and West London, SoHo NYC and now Venice, CA.
