ISPO Munich 2017, the largest industry gathering for the international sports business, will open its doors from February 5 to 8, presenting 16 halls full of new products for the sectors Outdoor, Ski, Action, Performance Sports, Textrends, Health & Fitness, Sportstyle and Sourcing. Besides, the show will present plenty of events at the ISPO Academy and feature discussions and presentations on several topics around the sports business.

More than 2,700 exhibitors from around the world will join the trade show and about 80,000 visitors are expected. Despite the challenging market situation in the segments ski, snowboard and outdoor, the current season seems better than expected with enough snow for winter sports. As a trend, ski touring or free riding, enjoying the snow off-piste is becoming increasingly popular. Still, it is important not to underestimate off-piste dangers. That is why the ISPO Snow & Safety Summit at ISPO Munich will have a special area in hall A3 with the best products dedicated to safety on and off-piste. For the first time ever, several helmet and goggle manufacturers will have a bundled exhibit of their products in hall A4.

Thanks to the new ISPO Polygon hall concept, there will be a wide center aisle in hall B6, where exhibitors can present their latest developments on a runway. Manufacturers of snowboards, skateboards, urban- and street-sport products and sneakers will showcase their collections in this new and open atmosphere. Also sustainability in the sports industry will be emphasized more with special information and booths.
