During the last edition of Denim Premiere Vision, Invista, global polymer manufacturer and owner of the Lycra brand, joined forces with specialized denim manufacturer Calik Denim, launching a series of innovative stretch denims.

Such novelties were presented within a seminar held by Hamit Yenici, general manager, Calik Denim. Among new products launched there were Circular Elastech, a multi-directional stretch denim with Lycra DualFX technology, added to both warp and weft in order to guarantee high-elasticity, and Lycra T400 supporting perfect recovery of the fabric.

Yenici commented: “Our aim is to define new standards for denim. In the past bi-direction denims, after various employs, tended to loose shape mostly in the back and knee areas. Circular Elastech added with Lycra DualFX can perfectly adapt to body movements and silhouette while increasing a sense of freedom of movement.”

Also new is Calik Denim’s Curve fabric that employs Lycra DualFX, too. This new fabric helps optimizing and balancing hyper-stretch jeans’ power enhancing body curves and making the silhouette look thinner.
