2009 marks the centenary of the birth of Frederick John Perry, tennis player and founder of the iconic sports fashion brand, Fred Perry.

To celebrate Fred’s 100th a whole series of activities has been planned, among them a collection of classic Fred Perry shirts that feature a unique design detail: an enlarged 16-leaf laurel with the centenary embroidery placed underneath.

The palette references classic Fred Perry colorways — white with leaf tipping, black with champagne tipping, 1964 sky with navy tipping, and red with white tipping.

The Fred Perry Centenary Shirt is a limited edition that includes four styles in red, blue, black and white. Each item costs around €70 Euro, and the polos will be sold throughout Fred Perry main line stores.
