British brand Fred Perry (, famous for it’s quintessential polo shirt and rock n roll styling, has united with feted designer Raf Simons to launch a collaborative range.

Presenting its Autumn Winter 08 collection at the current Paris Men’s Fashion Week the range will comprise twelve styles including re-workings of the classic Fred Perry shirt and knitwear. Key styles include a mohair short sleeve turtle neck jumper, an Aran knit polo shirt, a heavyweight pique polo shirt and one trouser style taken from the Raf Simons archive.

The palette will be black, highlighted with the 30 leaf Fred Perry laurel originally used in the 1960s’, which will be used exclusively on Fred Perry and Raf Simons collaboration pieces, with each piece having its own laurel colour.

The co-branded collaboration will initially be for two seasons and the distribution will be handled by the Futurenet Group for E.M.E.A. and Mitsui for Asia.
