SPiN New York, the hip table-tennis club co-owned by Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon, was the place to be and be seen on Tuesday night as the host of Fred Perry's centenary celebrations in Manhattan. Sarandon herself, along with Judah Friedlander, Eddie Borgo, Mick Rock, Sean O'Pry, Blue Logan, Wally Green, Kazuyuki Yokoyama and Marty Reisman were among the more than 500 guests who paddled up for the all-out party and rocked out to an exclusive set by the UK’s Friendly Fires. The event seemed more than fitting for the British label whose founder became a world champion in table tennis prior to becoming the legendary tennis figure and caps a year of special centenary highlights across the globe, including a Raf Simons centenary capsule collection and the release of three limited edition centenary polos in the brand's signature colorways.
