Franklin & Gower, the Los Angeles–based men’s and women’s apparel line known for its preppy, colorful resort-inspired blazers, pants, shorts and suiting pieces that can be customized, launched a new product category this week: men’s swimwear.

Retailing for $89 each, the eight varieties of swim trunks include the Bondi, Cadaques, Carbon, La Costa, Las Flores, Mundaka, Nobadeer and Stinson models and were released to capitalize on Father’s Day shopping. The trunks will be sold at Franklin & Gower’s wholesale accounts such as Fred Segal and on the brand’s website.

Franklin & Gower was founded by Paco McCauley and Eduardo A. Braniff in 2009 as a customizable line offering more than 1,000 variations of men’s pants and shorts. Since then, it has launched women’s and kids’ offerings.

Franklin & Gower takes its name from a well-known intersection in Hollywood that is home to several movie studios.
