Italian fashion brand Moncler ( has announced the conclusion of its partnership with Alessandra Facchinetti.

Facchinetti won critical acclaim for her quilted jackets and après-ski wear for Moncler’s luxury line Gamme Rouge. The decision to conclude the partnership was made by common agreement between Remo Ruffini, president and creative director of Moncler, and Alessandra Facchinetti herself. Facchinetti, who was at the helm of Gucci for two seasons prior to Tom Ford’s reign, is due to venture boldy onto pastures new having just been named creative director at the fashion house Valentino (, when Valentino Garavani himself retires next year. Meanwhile, the Moncler company is looking to fill the position left by Facchinetti at Gamme Rouge.
