After the successful implementation of the originally New Yorker MADE event in Los Angeles, California and Germany’s capital Berlin, the fashion, music and arts platform expands to Sydney. The concept of the new MADE event, taking place November 11-13, 2016, is based on linking the fashion industry to skate and street culture as Australia’s capital „is a place where fashion and sports intertwine”, says Barnett Zitron, MADE's VP and managing director.

MADE Sydney will kick off on the 11th of November with a special event: the world premiere of „The High Life“, a documentary about famous fashion photographer Slim Aarons. It will then also screen throughout the weekend for visitors of the event, but will hit global markets just later this year.

As another „event in the event“ MADE and Faith Connexion have planned a fashion show on the 12th of November on a special runway: a replica of Hubba Hideout, the iconic, recently demolished San Francisco-based skateboarding mecca. After the show the place will be open for the public to skate and on November 13th it will serve as playground for a Style+Skate amateur competition accompanied by pro-skater Corbin Harris.

In addition, the presenting partner of MADE, Mercedes-Benz, will arrange a Benz Bar Hospitality Pop-Up and further gatherings.
