Danish shoe brand Ecco aims for a new, more modern positioning. With its new sneaker collection ’Intrinsic’, the company that is probably most known for its widespread comfort shoes wants to rejuvenate its brand image and address a younger, more style-conscious target group and also strengthen its profile in the men’s market.
The Intrinsic shoe models come in modern and muted colors such as black and white, with laser cut details and a sole that strongly reminds of the world-famous Nike Free sneaker.

Also the corresponding lookbook imagery is exhaling a much more modern and fashionable approach than previously used by the traditional shoe brand. Ecco firstly introduced its new, more contemporary visual identity at the beginning of the month, when kicking off the clean black-and-white campaign for its ‘Soft7’ leather sneaker, which plays with the unisex idea.

Available as of November, the men’s and women’s models of the Ecco Intrinsic line will be sold online and in selected Ecco stores. The price is still to be announced.
