Debuting Dec. 9, the exhibition titled “50 ± Anni di Moda Italiana” in Vienna will present a cross-section of Italy’s fashion history, from traditional “Alta Moda” to contemporary designs by young designers, focusing on the relationship of Italian haute couture and Italian pret-à-porter. Designs by great couturiers such as Emilio Pucci and Karisia Paponi from the last 50 years will be on display. “50 ± anni di moda italiana” is part of the exhibition series Freiraum Quartier21 International and will take place at MusemsQuartier in Vienna through Jan. 20, 2010.
