ITS, the annual International Talent Support Competition, was held for the seventh time in Trieste, Italy, from Jul. 18-20. The highly anticipated event, spearheaded by EVE agency, is one of the most influential contests worldwide and organizers including ITS and partners Diesel, YKK and Mini were on hand to award some of the best designers across the globe working in the fields of fashion and accessories design as well as photography.

ITS#7 winners were as follows:

Fashion Collection of the Year was awarded to David Steinhorst, UK, from Central St. Martins, London.

Diesel Award went to Heikki Salonen, Finnish student at the Royal College of Art in London, and was presented by Renzo Rosso founder of Diesel.

Fashion Special Prize went to Elise Gettliffe, France, from Hogeschool Antwerp, Belgium.

Vertice Award went to Yuima Nakazato, Japanese attending Hogeschool Antwerp, Belgium.

i-D Styling Award was awarded to Mark Fast, Canada, from Central St. Martins, London.

Maria Luisa Award was won by Alithia Spuri Zampetti, Italy, attending Central St. Martins.

Accessories Collection of the Year went to Valentim Manuela Estevao Quaresma, Portugal.

YKK Accessory Award went to Benjamin Shun Lai Ng, UK, from Royal College of Art.

YKK Special prize was awarded to Thomasz Donocik, Austria, from Royal College of Art.

Mini Clubman Photo Award Kwent to Kazutaka Nagashima, Japanese student at Tokyo Polytechnic University.

Pitti Immagine Photo Award went to Debora Vrizzi, Italian student of Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia and Martine Fogueron, France, attending the International Center of Photography.

SVA Photo Global Award went to Matthieu Lavanchy, Swiss student of Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne.

Air Dolomiti Photo Award went to Venetia Dearden, UK, from London College of Communication.

Among this year’s finalists Sportswear International’s fashion features editor Michaela Schmidinger recommended the following ones to watch:

Fashion Design: Cecilie Rosted Bahnsen (women’s sportswear chic), Siri Johansen (men’s sportswear and knits), Filippo Fanini (menswear with fabric research) and Ross Barnes (graphic sportswear chic for women)

Accessories Design: Jannita van den Haak (’20s-inspired women’s bag line), Benjamin Shun Lai Ng (treated men’s leather shoes), Eva Nip (beach-inspired headgear) and Nutre Arayavanish (metal and wood jewelry)

Photography: Debora Vrizzi (staged photos depicting historical figures) and Kazutaka Nagashimi (beautiful black and white mood and landscape photos).
