The European Institute of Design (IED) will present the work of ten young fashion design talents in the third edition of the fashion show, “My Own Show,” during Milan Women’s Fashion Week. Students will showcase their coursework as the final requirement of the fashion design program, specifically a collection of 12 fashion outfits. The eight projects (six single and two team projects) have been selected by a jury composed of Vogue Italia’s director and academic director of IED Moda Lab Franca Sozzani and company executives behind the collections of Mariella Burani, Cesare Paciotti, Valentino, Moschillo, Ittierre and Pal Zileri. Students have been chosen out of 30 participants enrolled in the fashion design program at IED schools in Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona and San Paolo.

Info: Saturday, September 20, 2008, at the Theater IED Moda Lab in Via Pompeo Leoni, 3 in Milan, 20:30 pm (to be confirmed).
