To celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary, Sixty Group has decided to offer a 150-sq. meter space to all its “style clash” fans. The store features the entire new FW 09 collection by Energie, specially designed for the new Milanese concept store along with a selection of the Killah FW 09 collection.

The store design was entirely conceived by Sixty Group’s Interior Design Department, leaving the space completely in progress. By playing on the brand’s urban roots and on the Style Clash concept, the store features rough walls, ceilings with wires and pipelines in plain sight, along with resined flooring contrasting with vintage, modern and industrial furniture, where fluoro-pop meets metropolitan gray.

“I am very happy to celebrate Energie’s first 20 years with a space which comprises its original essence,” said Wichy Hassan, Creative Director and Co-founder of the Sixty Group. “During these years, Energie managed to stand out in the denim world thanks to the strong personality of the garments, skillfully combining vintage flavor to more urban details and strong artistic inspiration. This is what the term “style clash” represents for us, and this is what I hope every visitor will be able to capture by visiting our news space in Corso Venezia.”

Designs and artwork from the historical Energie archives decorate the Corso Venezia location for the twentieth anniversary. The result of artistic partnerships can be seen in the windows of the historic Via del Corso store in Rome, the first real Energie store, unified by the single common element of denim. Special mention goes to the drawings by one of Italy’s greatest comic artists, Andrea Pazienza, who in the early Nineties organized a special installation featuring his caricatures for the store.

As of Nov. 21, the brand will celebrate its birthday in the most important stores by asking “style clashers” to reinterpret the logo and Energie’s first 20 years in their own way.

Flagship store windows in Italy (Milan, Catania, Rome, Florence and Cagliari) and around Europe (Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Köln, Düsseldorf, Wien, Amsterdam and London) will be dressed with a special canvas divided into 20 compartments, one for every year, where the logo will already be present. Fans will have the chance to create their own work directly on the canvas, leaving their own personal mark on Energie.
