Skateboard brand Element has opened a range of new stores in Europe. Beginning in March, in Barcelona’s ‘Las Arenas’ – one of the city’s most prestigious recent architectural masterpieces that houses hundreds of stores, businesses and offices, the first Element store was opened. The store with 120sqm is located on the first floor of the shopping complex, which is situated on the Plaça Espanya, right in the heart of Barcelona.

Frank Voit, General Manager for Element Europe, says: “We are thrilled to be able to announce a further store opening in Europe, especially in this location. Spain is a strong market for us, so when we were offered the chance to open a shop at ‘Las Arenas’ we jumped on it. The former bullfighting ring is where new meets old and sustainability is a priority. An Element store fits in to this concept perfectly, as we too, not only embrace our history, but have an enduring commitment to working with sustainable materials whenever we can.”

The new store will offer Element’s product range of clothing, shoes and skateboards, as well as a large selection of Plan B skateboards, Nixon watches and Von Zipper sunglasses.

Moreover, in the middle of April, Element opened a store in Plymouth, UK, together with long-term retail partner Wood & Thread. In May, Element opened another store in Paris’ up-and-coming Rue de Marseille with a big opening event. The store with 154sqm offers Element’s product range of men, women and boy’s clothing, shoes, accessories and skateboards, as well as selected items by other brands like Plan B, Nixon, Von Zipper, Dakine and RVCA. Nozbone, the local skate specialist and partner, has been added to the core aspect of Element, by including an in-store skate shop, which provides workshops and a vast assortment of hard goods.
