It's not all about the Apple Watch. Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has partnered up with Diesel Black Gold on a show collaboration featuring the new Samsung Gear S wearable phone for the Diesel Black Gold spring/summer '15 collection that was shown on Tuesday, September 9, during New York Fashion Week.

Using the technology of the Samsung Gear S as a foundation, the creative team of Diesel Black Gold created a collection of unique pieces in different shapes, colors and details of the interactive wrist-technology device. Elements of the s/s 15 collection such as leather and metal details have been used to give some attitude to the device.

“We are committed to developing collaborations with brands that inspire fashion and empower people to express their personal style,” said Younghee Lee, executive vice president of Global Marketing, IT& Mobile Division at Samsung. “Our partnership with Diesel Black Gold is very crucial as it further showcases the union of fashion and technology, and the way in which wearable devices continue to become more intertwined in daily life.”

Samsung and Diesel have also collaborated to make a 360 degree video of the show to be played in Samsung's "goggle device" Gear VR.
