Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is no stranger to Paige –she has been the face of the LA women’s denim brand in all its campaigns for the last three seasons. Now, the supermodel is making her contribution to denim design though a joint capsule collection set to debut in February 2017.
Huntington worked on the collaboration together with Paige’s founder and creative director Paige Adams-Geller. Both wanted to come up with a range that could be worn from day to night, dressed up or down. The 17-piece capsule collection contains various denim fits, a silk bomber, a Tencel one-shoulder dress and a lamé jumpsuit, among others.
“With this design collaboration, I was excited to stretch my creativity with the Paige brand and create more edgy pieces that we might not have typically done before,” said Adams-Geller. “It was fun to work alongside Rosie on the design front, and hear her thoughts on fit, style and trends. It didn’t stop there either – we fully collaborated on the hang tags, Instagram videos, events and more.”
The Rosie Huntington x Paige collection will launch on February 15, 2017, at Paige stores in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, own ecommerce and selected international retailers. A second drop will follow in fall 2017.
Collaborations between denim brands and supermodels with a high following on Instagram are our daily bread. Recently, Closed also announced a design partnership with the Garrn siblings for EQL, a unisex capsule collection.
