In a time where humanitarian and environmental issues affect every aspect of our lives, fashion can blaze a trail for change. On Tuesday 24th of April, Ireland's fair city of Dublin will host an event about just that.

Called Fashion Evolution ( this awareness campaign will readdress Irish consumers and industry about ethical and environmental issues within fashion. The event will mark one week of activities including a cafe style seminar, an ethical fashion exhibition and the Totally Oxfam Design competition supported by Oxfam Ireland.

Designer Katharine Hamnett and Head of Corporate Social Responsibilty for M&S Mike Barry will participate in what is bound to be an impassioned public debate. Tickets are 12 Euro and available from
