Danish fashion group DK Company (Blend, Ichi, InWear, Denim Hunter etc.) has signed an agreement with Puccini Denmark ApS to take over the fashion mail order Bon’ A Parte Group. As of 31 December 2014, DK Company assumes all activities of the group, including running the Danish fashion web shop bonaparteshop.com and its subsidiaries in Sweden, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany.

The takeover of the e-commerce and consignment company is a strategic step for DK Company to strengthen its position in the growing e-commerce market. The acquisition brings DK Company closer to its strategic goal of having three strong distribution channels as the foundation of the business: wholesale, retail and e-commerce.

Bon’ A Parte has gone through a transformation process that is expected to continue. Plans will be developed on how synergies with DK Company can come in useful when it comes to purchasing, production, administration and logistics. Market-wise Bon’ A Parte and DK Company complement each other, since each one is a distinctive player in central Europe and Scandinavia.

In the last financial year, Bon’ A Parte has achieved a turnover of approximately 300 million Danish kroner and a negative EBITDA of 15 million kroner. DK Company does not expect the acquisition to contribute significantly to the earnings in 2015.
