Diesel (diesel.com) has just opened it’s largest store in Japan on Nishi Ginza Dori (Sotobori Dori) in Ginza.

The new store boasts three selling floors and the latest design features, part of an original concept conceived by the brand’s interior design team in Italy. It offers a broad selection of pieces, including Diesel 5 pocket and fashion bags, footwear, timeframes, eyewear, intimates and fashion items. The third floor of the space will carry the newest high-end collection, Diesel Black Gold - which launches at retail globally in Fall 2008 - and also New York Collection pieces. In addition, limited edition Diesel Ginza items, including denim bags and watches, will be released to commemorate the store’s opening.

As part of the innovative design direction, the store features a touch screen mirror to entertain visitors, an interactive mirror that reflects the image on the display in real-time, whilst capturing the image. This will allow customers to view their rear or even compare how they look in different outfits side by side.

As part of Diesel’s global retail roll-out, the next big opening will be another high profile flagship store in Hong Kong, set to open its door in May of this year.
