Designers & Agents (www.designersandagents.com), the independent, international alternative market show, is adding home furnishings to its product's category.

The new "lifestyle category" will bow at the D&A Annex show June 11-14 in Los Angeles. The biannual contemporary/young designer fashion, footwear and accessories resource is held at the New Mart and the adjacent Cooper Building located in the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District at "The Intersection" of 9th and Los Angeles Streets. The category will continue in New York and Tokyo for the following Designers & Agents shows.

Home Furnishings will introduce an array of new products including bedding, books, tableware, fragrance and textiles and will account for 15 percent of the show's overall resources. Companies already confirmed to exhibit are Assouline--a design, art, photography and entertainment book publishing house based in New York, Paris and London, Jonathan Adler--a New York-based maker of stylish pottery and groovy home furnishings, Dwell--a hip, urban New York-based bedding and home essentials company, and Where to Wear--a yearly city shopping guide published around the world.
