Datch, the young Italian fashion brand, is expanding its retail presence. Following the opening of a new Datch Factory store in Resana, near Venice, the company will inaugurate a new store in Catania (Sicily) in the Le Porte shopping mall on March 25.

Both stores were designed by architects Omar Valle and Matteo Lonardi and by One Week, longtime collaborators of Rubra SpA, the company behind the Datch brand and its different spin-off collections Datch, Datch Gym, Underwear and Datch Dudes.

Iron and wood structures, materials which express the rebel spirit of this glamourous, rock-inspired brand’s DNA, characterize the two stores. Gray and dark hues dominate in sharp contrast to its lacquered red cash registers.

Datch said it plans to open 20 stores throughout Italy in the coming months. Those new shops will add to a 40-strong store network, consisting of stores in Milan, Ravenna, Milano Marittima, Catania, Roma, Bari, Naples and Bologna, as well as four Datch Factory stores (selling both in-season and off-season products) in Milan’s Milano Fiori shopping mall, Lissone, Resana and Verona.
