LC:M-regular designer Christopher Shannon is launching North Quarter, a technical sportswear collection for men whose first season will be sold exclusively at Flannels’ stores and e-commerce site starting later this week.

North Quarter encompasses over fifty pieces including jackets, sweatshirts, shirting, t-shirts and joggers in vivid colors like bright red, electric blue, slate grey and black. A keen focus has been placed on the use of technical fabrics such as bonded cottons, flexible neoprenes and soft-shell constructions. A striking camouflage print designed by Shannon runs throughout the collection highlighted with block color detailing and overlaid graphics. “North Quarter gives me the opportunity to speak directly with the brand-led British men who have inspired me creatively since the outset of my career,” said the designer.

Shannon has received some funding to support manufacturing for the collection and is working together with London-based fashion distribution agency Zone Two, which has clients such as Scotch & Soda, Eastpak and Samsøe & Samsøe. For the spring/summer’17 season, North Quarter will be sold at further premium independent stores like Tessuti and Selfridges Manchester, as confirmed at this point of time.
