Italian apparel brand Benetton has just launched a new in-house developed knitwear concept and pullover line TV31100, named after the postal code of the place where Benetton was founded in 1965. This name was chosen in order to hype Benetton’s roots, DNA, local abilities and ground-breaking innovation capacities.
Entirely made in Italy in Treviso, at the company’s headquarters on 36 newly reallocated knitting machines, the TV31100 collection is manufactured by employing a new revolutionary Whole Garment Technology, a knitting technique that eliminates yarn wastage and has a reduced environmental impact. TV31100 pullovers are actually totally seamless, have a perfect figure-hugging fit and allow great freedom of movement.
They are made with top quality yarns (90% merino and 10% cashmere) and available in a limited edition selection for men and women in six colors – black, green, brick red, blue, purple and yellow – on offer from November 2016.
