Adidas Originals has teamed up with Alexander Wang for a limited collection that made its unexpected debut during New York Fashion Week.

The first limited capsule drop, only available through Adidas Originals by Alexander Wang popup truck locations, features nine styles including t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies emblazoned with a graphic appliqué, and a group of Tricots and shorts featuring a co-branded all-over monogram print with an inside-out stitching of Adidas’ iconic three stripes.

Adidas Originals by Alexander Wang is an 84 piece unisex apparel and footwear collection inspired by the idea of overturning commonly accepted rules. This concept behind the collaboration is echoed through all points of the partnership starting from design to communication to consumer purchasing.

Flipping branding conventions, Adidas Originals’ iconic trefoil and “originals” logos are rotated upside down, becoming newly and defyingly symbolic.

The full collection will be sold globally at the brand’s stores, selected retailers as well as online from Spring 2017.
