he Hoppegarten-based Clinton Group has announced several staff news. Its formalwear subsidary J. Philipp has hired Dieter Vogel as new CEO. Vogel succeeds Guido Niedenthal who left the company earlier this month. Hanau-based J. Philipp was acquired by Clinton in March 2013. “It is time to establish the change that was started a year ago now has to be established in the management team”, commented Jürgen Finkbeiner, CEO of the Clinton Group.

Moreover, Michael Berngruber was appointed Senior Head of Creative Management and will be responsible for the future direction of the Camp David Black collection and the younger formalwear brand Jay-Pi. The 46-year-old has lately been Vice President Tailored at Tommy Hilfiger Europe.
Both appointments are effective immediately.

At the beginning of 2015, also Armin Griesbeck will join the Clinton Group as new Director Operations & Sourcing and account for production, quality management and assurance of all Clinton collections.
“The restructuring and realignment in this field was a long-time planned and necessary step. […] In these decisions we see an important impulse for renewment and we are convinced to establish our formalwear lines further in the market”, said Finkbeiner.
