After soft-launching in the USA and Brazil, China’s second biggest sporting goods brand 361° is now targeting the European market. With the spring/summer ’15 season, the brand will launch its international collection with specialized retailers in the German-speaking countries, strongly focusing on the running segment. Further pan-European markets shall be approached for the time span around the Olympic Games 2016.

The initial collection for Europe encompasses almost 140 styles (running, training, trail, and lifestyle shoes and apparel) for men and women, priced €69-€130.

“Our mantra ‘One Degree Beyond’ stands for our demand to be one step ahead in all fields, from innovation or performance to design and service. We are confident to have a great impact on the European market with this mission, our know-how and innovative technologies,” said Otto Lin, managing director of 361°.

The brand is sponsoring various sports events in Europe and will also support the Olympic Games and Paralympics in Brazil in 2016. For the official torchbearer and other stakeholders in front of and behind the scenes of the event, 361° is providing more than 100,000 outfits.

361 Degrees International Limited was founded in Chinese Jianjing in 2003. In its home country, the sports brand operated more than 7,800 stores and generates a turnover of more than €1 bn/year. As a premiere in Europe, 361° will exhibit at Munich’s ISPO trade show from February 5-8, 2015.
