About a month ago, the Chinese fashion trade show Chic Shanghai (previously Chic Beijing) announced to change the event’s location and shortening the timeframe. Now, further news additions to the next edition (March 18 through 20, 2015) have been revealed. The first change is the trade fair name, which will be changed from China International Clothing & Accessories Fair to China International Fashion Fair, retaining the initials China International Clothing.

Another change to the announcement last month is about the Chic Young Blood fashion platform for young design. Scheduled for October 2014 in Beijing, the event has now been rescheduledto take place at the same time as Chic Shanghai (March 18 through 20, 2015). According to the show organizers, holding both fairs at the same time will enable a richer symbiosis and potential leverage. In addition, a not yet defined part of Chic Young Blood will be extended to an outside area in a shopping mall. Chic has still planned a B2C event in Beijing in October, but the organization hasn't provided more details on this yet.

The China Fashion Annual Award China Fashion Forum and other activities will relocate to Shanghai, supplementing Chic Shanghai’s accompanying program events.
