The next edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week will be held Feb. 2-5, 2011, featuring the tradeshows CPH Vision and Terminal-2. Copenhagen Fashion Week will kick off with two shows that are styled, produced and directed by the dynamic fashion duo Kim Grenaa & Uffe Buchard from GrenaaBuchard. Both shows will take place on the evening of Feb. 2.

Tradeshows CPH Vision and Terminal-2 will run from Feb. 3-5 with opening hours from 10-7 and Saturday from 10-6. The strategy for both exhibitions is to show that they are more than just a tradeshow. Organizers Jan Busch Carlsen and Sophie Laraignou stepped back a bit to let young forces take over. The focus of this edition lies on the relation to the exhibitors. The service level has been raised and everything will be more straightforward for both exhibitors and visitors.

CPH Vision has a stronger profile and a design-driven portfolio next year focusing on Scandinavian design, feminine fashion, well-established international designer brands as well as up-and-coming designers. The brands will be presented in a unique floral arrangement by renowned florist, Nicolai Bergmann. CPH Vision will feature 145 exhibitors with 221 brands with many new brands such as Royal Danish Ballet underwear and Liebeskind Berlin.

Terminal-2 offers an exclusive mix of Scandinavian and international brands. Focus is on the best brands of today’s market, everything from high-end heritage brands and urbanwear brands. Inspiration from the surroundings comes from the present heritage trend. Terminal-2 will present 128 exhibitors with 247 brands like Nudie Jeans, True Religion and Selected.

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, there will also be several events. Heineken will each day host a special Heineken afterhour party at Terminal-2, with cool music and a bar. On Friday, there will be a hangover brunch as well at Terminal-2. On Saturday, Terminal-2, Converse and Heineken will host a special pre-party and a mini concert with a bar. In addition, there will be the sixth edition of the CPH Vision Party hosted by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, a huge closing party to gather national and international guests, fashion companies, models, stylists and VIPs at “Skiuespilhuset”.
