Compass, the cutting-edge showcase of men’s and women’s footwear (Jul. 31-Aug. 1), is set to return to Las Vegas next week, with 15 new additions to the show, including Mark McNairy for Bass Weejuns, John Varvatos, Rockport, TUK, Chippewa, Ryan-Rowe, Tom's and Keds.

BPMW, organizer behind the leading Capsule men’s show and full-service branding agency in New York, has also been working hard to develop its women’s offerings for the show, so this season buyers can expect to see women’s styles by 80%20, Camper, Matiko, Draven, Seychelles and BC Footwear.

As partner Edina Sultanik Silver put it, “We assembled the market's most sought-after brands under one roof, in an easy-to shop-environment.”

In all, Compass at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel will host 60 exhibitors, including Palladium, Clae, Fred Perry, Converse, Timberland, Original Penguin, Sperry and Spring Court.

The show will also debut several artistic short films by NYC photographer Jacob Krupnick, host cocktails by the pool both afternoons and an after-party on Friday night at The Peppermill, the old school lounge.

Silver reminded Sportswear that BPMW’s mission was “to make the business of doing business a little more fun and easier and convenient for the retailers and designers who participate in [its] shows,” adding, “We feel that we are leading the direction of the market not only in the brands we represent, but also in the vibe and atmosphere at our shows. People like to come, hang out, see their friends and business associates, and spend time at Compass.”
