Since the start of November Blue Tomato has opened three new shops in and around Munich with one based near Isartor, another on Rosenheimer Straße, and the third on Kufsteiner Straße in Rosenheim. The label aims to keep each location in tune with its individual and local character while working with customers to get suggestions and develop the spaces.

Founder Gerfried Schuller is pleased with the first German branches, which are making positive progress. He stated: “The three Blue Tomato shops are well-located and have high potential to attract good business. We are excited to offer our Bavarian customers a wide range of boardsport and freeski brands as well as our own Blue Tomato selection.”

The label is considering further expansion in Germany as they examine the “mood” and “style” of more possible cities. Because the stores draw so much on their surroundings, Blue Tomato is currently looking into a variety of different cities for potential positions.
