Fashion trade show Panorama Berlin has made public that the next FW’15-16 event will take place from January 19-21 2015, concurrently with other trade shows like Premium, Seek, Bright, Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show in the German capital. Capsule hasn’t announced the upcoming winter shows yet. Apparently, the decision of Panorama was taken in solidarity with all the other organizers of the Berlin Fashion Week, even though this date is controversially discussed by the industry and trade alike, according to the organizers. Joerg Wichmann, CEO of Panorama Berlin, explains: “The January 2015 date is clearly too late for the majority of relevant women’s wear collections and weakens the position of Berlin as a kick-off event and information platform. Our commitment to join this date is the result of intensive discussions followed at the request of buyers who want a common date for all events of the Berlin Fashion Week."

For the next winter edition, Panorama also discloses 6,000 square-meters of additional exhibition space in order to expand the exhibitor portfolio and to strengthen the men’s- and sportswear segments. Finally, organizers have also communicated that the next summer edition will run from July 7-9 2015, when exhibitors will introduce their SS’2016 collections.
