Benetton has opened a flagship store and three more stores in Moscow. The first On Canvas flagship store – similar to the one inaugurated in Milan last spring (see our previous coverage here) – opened to the public in August 2014, though it was inaugurated on 9 October 2014. The re-styled new flagship store is based on 19 Tverskaya Street, Moscow, and is made up of a 1,600 square meters central element store characterized by a metaphoric loom that serves as an almost invisible and versatile structure, able to present new collections, colors and materials, and constantly evolving store layouts.

As the Milan project, also the new Moscow store is entirely Italian in terms of style, design and elegance. The same On Canvas concept will feature in the three other new stores, which are due to open by autumn 2014 in shopping centers in and around Moscow in Metropolis CC, Leningradskoye Shosse, 16; Zolotoy Vavilon CC, Prospekt Mira, 211; and June CC, Mira Street, Mityshi.

Russia represents a booming market for the Benetton Group. The group has been selling in this country for over twenty years and continues its process of development and refocusing with a series of openings in Moscow and other prestigious locations.

The testimonial of United Colors of Benetton’s new Moscow opening was Keti Topuria, A Studio's DJ and singer. The young pop star attended the event of the Russian flagship of Tverskaya and will also participate in other following On Canvas store openings. She will be an interpreter of Benetton style through a series of social activities in the fashion world.
