British household name Ben Sherman has flung open the doors to its new London flagship store in Covent Garden. Located on Long Acre, one of the city’s busiest shopping streets, the store spreads across 4000 sq.ft. (327 sqm) over two floors. In line with the existing retail formula, the “shirt bar” is a prominent feature, while the partnership with Sharps Barber continues– men in need of a haircut will find a four-seat barbershop on the lower ground floor.

Design agency Brinkworth were relied upon again to create the interior concept, which features sandblasted brickwork and white bevelled-edged tiling.

A number of large LCD screen dot the space; these will be used to show regularly updated film content to inspire consumers and educate them about the brand. Said Scott Wakefield, global director of retail, franchise and e-commerce at Ben Sherman: “Our new store is the best example of bringing together our concept, the natural features of the building and, in particular, our learnings on how we bring the digital Ben Sherman experience into our stores.”
