Denmark’s BTX Group A/S has appointed Ed Renner and Mikael Hansen managers of its Young Division. In his position as Young Division manager, Renner will be responsible for the brands Blend and Psycho Cowboy, operating out of Vejle, the headquarters for Blend A/S that was folded into BTX Group. Renner brings with him 25 years’ experience in the fashion business; previously he was CEO of IC Company’s Cottonfield. He succeeds Per Gasseholm, the former president of Blend A/S, who left the company after two and a half years. Hansen, formerly responsible for the brands BTX and Frank Q, meanwhile, will be in charge of the brands Ichi and Gestuz, operating now from Kolding. Both Renner and Hansen will serve as members of the executive board at BTX Group, which comprises 16 fashion brands and is headquartered in Brande, Denmark. In order to enhance the efficiency of the company, BTX Group recently divided the 16 brands into the three divisions of Young, Modern and Classic.
