In Atlanta, Georgia the name Bill Hallman is synonymous with high fashion. Hallman, a former designer and now eminent retail figure, is responsible for his three namesake stores in the city, the first ports of call for contemporary retail. October 2005 saw Hallman’s most recent and exciting project unveiled: 6,000 square foot of a super-hip lifestyle boutique, on Atlanta’s Virginia Highlands boutique row.

The aptly named Bill Hallman Boutique is an innovative addition. “It has been a long time dream of mine to create a retail environment that hasn’t been done before; one that sparks creativity, allows individual expressionism, and attracts those who know and love style,” says Hallman, whose smart store design includes a Zen garden and “chill out” area flanked by its apparel, pet gear, home objects and music departments. Other clever touches set the boutique apart: it acknowledges the importance of denim to the market with it’s “denim bar,” where styles from the likes of Earnest Sewn, Meltin’ Pot and G-Star, are displayed by cut not vendor.

In addition is the dedicated area for talents to host art exhibitions and trunk shows, confirming the originality of Hallman’s new venture, and forming a new dimension of the “lifestyle boutique.”
