There appears to be no end to announcements of new fair formats for this upcoming summer in Berlin. The latest is TheKey.to, a new platform for green fashion, sustainable lifestyle and culture.

The fair will debut Jul. 1-4, contemporaneously running with fairs such as Bread & butter, Premium, Projekt Galerie , Boudoir, 5 Elements Berlin and Spirit of Fashion.

Organizers have confirmed up to 100 sustainable fashion labels ranging from streetwear and sportswear to high fashion will be on display.

In accordance with its focus on green fashion, the fair’s surroundings will also be green: all display furniture will be made of organic materials and the goal is to make the event eventually 100% recyclable. In addition, TheKey.to will also provides slow-food catering, organic beauty, cultural highlights, fashion shows, workshops and parties.

TheKey.to is being launched by Gereon Pilz von der Grinten, Rostislav Komitov (Creative agency fair activities) and Frans Prins (Grass Routes Foundation). Gereon Pilz explained their motivation to start a green fashion fair in Germany: “The global trendsetters today want style that does not lack a certain background. This is exactly what is offered by TheKey.to as we are presenting progressive and innovative designs, today avant-garde, yet which are set to bring about a fashion and lifestyle revolution for the future.”

Subsequently, TheKey.to is expected to showcase the whole spectrum of visionary consumer directions packed with the latest developments and right network environment to work on ideas.

The fair is open for trade visitors through Jul. 3. The last day is for the public. A location is yet to be confirmed.
