The French fashion company Bensimon, well known worldwide for its tennis sneakers and fashion basics, will launch a second line next autumn/winter called B.TEAM. The collection contains about 50 pieces, including accessories, and focuses on a younger clientele of girls and boys, who buy the famous sneakers but might not be able to afford the main collection. It retails then at a lower price range of €15 to €129. P.E. trousers retail for about €50, pullovers for about €70 and T-shirts for about €35. Design team and founder Serge Bensimon chose gabardine, denim, flannel and alpaca wool for the capsule collection, which will be sold in the first time in all Bensimon shops under the “Autour du monde” banner. In the future, distribution for B.TEAM will be targeted at multibrand shops and in particular jeanswear retailers.
