VF Corporation has appointed Jim Pisani as global brand president of outdoor wear specialist Timberland, effective immediately. He is filling the void left behind by Stewart Whitney in July 2016. Pisani is a company veteran who joined the fashion group in 2008 as president of VF’s Licensed Sports Group, a position that he has held until now. As global president, he aims to accelerate Timberland’s growth through close cooperation with the different brand teams spread around the world.

Pisani’s successor at the helm of the VF Licensed Sports Group is Mike Pardini. This group division includes the Majestic brand, official on-field uniform provider for Major League Baseball, which also supplies apparel and fanwear through licensing agreements with the US and international professional sports leagues, colleges and universities.
