Tennis brand K-Swiss has designated industry veteran Sean O’Shea as creative director with immediate effect. Based at the brand’s headquarters in Westlake, California, he will supervise the full product design process globally and report to Barney Waters, K-Swiss president.

O’Shea is expected to bring in new impulses from the running and training segments, for which he was head of design at former employer Puma. “Everyone  knows  K-Swiss’  strength  in  heritage court  style,  and now  Sean  will  lead  us  into  the  next  phase  of  our  brand  development, through modernization  and  innovation, capturing  the  sophisticated  athletic  styling  of  our young entrepreneurial consumer,” said Waters in regard of the announcement.

Along his twenty-year experience in footwear design, he has worked for big players like Adidas, Nike and Converse in several senior design roles.
