The Collected Group (formerly Dutch LLC which has just announced its renaming), the parent company behind the Current/Elliott, Equipment and Joie brands, has appointed Sarah Rutson as new chief brand officer. Rutson is the former vice president of global buying at fashion e-tailer Net-A-Porter and previously acted as fashion director at Chinese luxury retail enterprise Lane Crawford Joyce Group.

In her new role, she will oversee The Collected Group’s rebranding and expansion together with CEO James Miller.

The Collected Group explicitly wants to grow its existing brands and also further expand its brand portfolio in the “designer, beauty and lifestyle brand categories.” Rutson will use her expertise in premium and luxury lifestyle markets to identify new brands for potential investment–both established and newcomer ones.
