In celebration of their 80th anniversary, Blauer USA launches a capsule collection at Pitti.

The anniversary collection presents reworked Blauer Classics such as used-look leather jackets with patches inspired by 1940s police uniforms, as well as a 1980s inspired derby sneaker and two limited sunglass models, a retro cateye one and a classic, available in 4-6 colorways. Retail prices for the jackets are around 1200€, the other item’s prices are still to be announced.

Blauer was founded by Louis Blauer in 1936 in Boston and has been specialized in functional clothing ever since. Offering a product range including motorcycle jackets and uniforms, it has been especially popular among motor sports athletes and civil servants. As FGF Industry took over Blauer in 2001 they stepped into the fashion market with their historical workwear and have been serving fashionable collections since.
