This July 17-19, the Javits Convention Center in New York City will once again host Texworld USA, the largest sourcing event on the East Coast for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals. Attendees of the three-day event will also be able to take advantage of one-stop-shopping under one roof with the return of the Apparel Sourcing USA manufacturing services show and the debut of Avanprint USA digital print show. This must-attend fashion and apparel industry event combines three, top tier shows, co-located for convenience and efficiency, all in the heart of the City.

 

Now in its 11th year, Texworld USA is a known, trusted source of textile and fabric options, trims and accessories, with quality, on trend, affordable offerings from over 540 international exhibitors including Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Colombia, Pakistan, China, the USA, Canada, India, Italy and Lenzing Innovation. Meanwhile, the Texworld USA free educational seminar offerings focus on hot industry topics such as social media marketing, fiber development, sustainability and global sourcing. Due to popularity, the show will also bring back the Texworld USA Floor Sessions this season. The smaller, more focused show floor sessions on the subjects most affecting the industry celebrated their debut in January. 

 

The Research Row section allows attendees to search complimentary business development tools, recycling solutions, 3D printers and other important educational materials from partners such as Fashiondex, FIT Bookstore, Queen of Raw, Trend Council, Heisel and more. Additional inspiration can be found at the Texworld SHOWCASE on color and material trends.

 

Of further added value is this season’s SPOTLIGHT display, which focuses on casual and formal shirting and suiting. Attendees can investigate shirting and suiting fabrics, finished apparel and manufacturing capabilities across both the Texworld USA and Apparel Sourcing USA shows.

The Apparel Sourcing USA show shares the Javits Center and adds to the Texworld USA full-service mission. With its focus on contract manufacturing, private label development, original design manufacturing and finished apparel, Apparel Sourcing USA is a valuable addition to the sourcing marketplace and has become a growing staple of both the winter and summer Javits Center show offerings. In fact, this season, Apparel Sourcing USA boasts its largest and most diverse group of exhibitors in the show’s history.


With over 200 international exhibitors, representing over 10 global sourcing destinations, the Apparel Sourcing USA show looks forward to three days of business, networking and education, connecting attendees with suppliers specializing in women’s, men’s and children’s ready to wear and accessories. Continuing its partnership with CCPIT TEX, Apparel Sourcing USA brings back its group of well-established Chinese suppliers while the hot button topic of “speed to market” will be addressed by knitwear and sportswear South American pavilions. “We are seeing an interest in western hemisphere sourcing grow each season,” says Show Director Jennifer Bacon. “To address this demand, we’ve focused on bringing more high quality manufacturers from Mexico and South America to the show floor and we look forward to introducing our buyers to new sourcing options from Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico.”

 

Rounding out the one-stop-shopping Javits Center offerings is the newest addition to the family, the debut of the Avanprint USA show. Avanprint USA is where fashion and technology meet, bringing together digital print companies and North America’s top design and sourcing professionals. Here, attendees can learn about innovations in digital textile printing such as machinery, inks, software, products, services and more. The addition of Avanprint USA to the summer textile event roster will expand the comprehensive sourcing destination created by Messe Frankfurt for the North American market.

Confirmed Avanprint USA exhibitors include, but are not limited to: SPG, Caledera, Vanguard Digital Printing Systems, J-Tek USA and Lectra. Avanprint USA plans live machinery demonstrations along with a textile print trend area. The show’s Print Park will showcase Nuprimary studio’s digital print designs along with start-to-finish live demonstrations in partnership with both Nuprimary and Lectra.
