Adidas has announced the closing of its 25 stores in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia for its teen brand Neo. Instead the brand will focus on offering the products through wholesale partners in this region, as CEO Herbert Hainer said on Wednesday.

Hainer said: “While our own Adidas Neo stores have provided us with loads of insights and learnings, data shows that we are more successful in offering Adidas Neo products at key wholesale partners.”

Hainer said that this decision would not affect the 2.000 Neo Stores operated in China through franchise partners. Neo that reached sales of 1 billion euro in 2015, jumped another 60% in the first quarter of 2016 according to the Adidas’ CEO.
