Global sportswear brand Adidas is about to launch Standard 19, a brand new training range for young urban consumers with gym affinity, retailing from August 1 onwards. The first men and women’s collection for this upcoming fall/winter season features 32 pieces and will be available at the brand’s performance stores and own ecommerce but also at sports retailers and high-end department stores like SportArena, Harrods, Stockmann, Lotte and Lady Footlocker.

In tune with the current athleisure macrotrend, Standard 19 aims to fill a gap of good-looking sport clothes that can be worn at both "gym and office", according to the German brand. The range is inspired by Adidas’ heritage and comprises outerwear jackets, hoodies, tees, tank tops, tracksuit pants and shorts. Material-wise, some of the base layers blend merino, polyester and Lycra in marbled gray knits. Besides, various pockets and reflective elements bring in functionality. The collection is rounded off by the Adizero XT Boost, a running shoe with sock-like support and outsoles created by rubber products manufacturer Continental for outdoor and trail performance.
