Adidas Originals by White Mountaineering will be the Designer Project hosted at the 89th edition of Pitti Uomo, held from 12 to 15 January 2016, in Florence.

For the occasion a special event will present Adidas Originals codes reinterpreted in a menswear collection by Yosuke Aizawa, creative mind behind the Japanese White Mountaineering brand. The collaboration marks the return to Florence for the designer, who already made his European debut with his brand at Pitti. This time his collaboration with Adidas Originals will give life to a highly innovative collection that combines tradition and technical materials, design and functionality.

For the same show edition Menswear Guest Designer will be Juun.J. The Korean designer will present his menswear collection for the first time in Florence. His perspective concentrates on "street tailoring" crossed with classical references. He will blend Asian roots and heritage tailoring, rigid silhouettes and futuristic volumes, along with military influences and Parisian cosmopolitanism. Juun.J is the first Menswear Guest Designer at Pitti Uomo from Korea.

Marco De Vincenzo will be the Womenswear Guest Designer at this edition. Born in 1978, the fashion designer has spent 15 years collaborating with Fendi fashion house, where he still designs the accessories collections. In 2009 he created his own brand, and in 2014 started a joint venture with the LVMH Group. He will present a project staging a spectacular performance, in a brand new space in the city of Florence.
