The last edition of Munich Fabric Start registered a +9% growth in visitors compared to the Feb. 2009 edition. The 28th edition of the show held in Munich M.O.C. Centrum and the nearby Zenithhalle between Feb. 2 and 4 (also see our previous Feb. 8 report) was visited by 15,640 people, all of which, according to exhibitors, were top-level industry insiders.

As reported by show organizers, fashion brands from Germany and neighboring countries participated in the event. In addition, decision makers from groups such as Escada, Hugo Boss and René Lezard, plus Schneiders (Austria), Next (Great Britain), French Connection (Great Britain), Strellson (Switzerland), Dellalui (France), Hettemarks (Sweden), and jeanswear brands such as Dickie’s Europe, Met (Italy) and Capone (The Netherlands) visited the show.

The next edition of the show will take place in Munich’s M.O.C. centrum. It will present pre-collections for FW 2011-12 and will be held between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2, 2010.
